What are your COVID-19 safety protocals?
In an effort to reduce the spread of COVID-19, the Florida State Fairgrounds is taking extra precautions to assure the health and safety of our employees and guests.

How do I plan my day and where can I find all the events?
To help you prepare for your day at the fair, all the events are located on our calendar.
Where is the fair located?
The Florida State Fair is always located at the Florida State Fairgrounds in Tampa. The physical address of the Fairgrounds is 4800 U.S. Hwy 301 N, Tampa, FL 33610.
What are the fair dates and hours of operation?
The fair is open daily from April 22-May 2, 2021.
Monday – Thursday, Gates open: 11:00 a.m. Midway Opens: 1:00 p.m.
Friday – Sunday, Gates open: 10:00 a.m. Midway Opens: 10:30 a.m.
What is the cost of parking?
Parking is free for all fair attendees.
What items are prohibited at the fair?
- Bicycles, skateboards, rollerblades, two-wheeled scooters;
- Unauthorized vehicles;
- Weapons, except for those carried and concealed pursuant to a valid concealed weapons permit, pursuant to Chapter 790, Florida Statutes;
- Fireworks, explosives or explosive devices, and inflammables;
- Alcohol or alcoholic beverages, or any other food or drink;
- Controlled substances;
- Destructive devices;
- Pets, with the exception of service animals as defined by the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA);
- All remotely controlled devices such as drones, aircraft, cars, etc.;
- Any other object or objects which in the opinion of the Executive Director or the Executive Director’s designee may affect the safety and well-being of persons attending events on Florida State Fair property.
Where can I rent a wheelchair or scooter for the fair?
Scootaround tents with scooters and wheelchairs for rent are located just inside Gates 1, 2, 3 and 4. Scooters and wheelchairs are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Online reservations are available now – https://scootaround.com/en/florida-state-fair – or call 1-888-441-7575.
How do I purchase tickets? Are there any available discounts?
We are proud to offer many ways to save at the fair, including advanced ticket discounts online and at participating Publix stores now through April 21, as well as group sale discounts and special promotion days. See our events calendar for a schedule of special promotions days.
Can I bring my large group to the fair?
Large groups are more than welcome to enjoy the fair! Please see our group order form for discounted ticket rates and more information.
How do I redeem a ticket I purchased online?
If you have purchased your tickets online, look for the PDF attached to your confirmation email. Please print this confirmation. Please also bring a valid Photo ID.
What’s included with my admission ticket?
Almost all entertainment experiences, including thrill shows, musical acts, circus shows, educational exhibits, agricultural experiences and more are included with the price of admission. Ride tickets/armbands, midway games and food items are not included with the price of admission and must be purchased separately.
Where is Will Call located?
Will Call is located at Gate 1 only. To access the Will Call office, proceed past the ticket sellers towards security. The Will Call office is the left-most booth.
Do you offer refunds or re-entry?
All acts, concerts, scheduled times, exhibitors, prices and other advertised events are subject to change and or cancellation without notice. There are no refunds, exchanges, or rain checks. All sales are final. No re-entry is permitted without a new fair ticket.
Where can I find the safe kids place?
Visit any Guest Services booth to register your child for our free Safe Kids Program. Any lost children reported to staff will be escorted to the Safe Kids Place by a Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Deputy. Parents/Guardians will be contacted using the information from the Safe Kids Program. If you have not registered your child for the program, please be ready to provide identifiable information as requested by the Deputy on site. The Safe Kids Place and Lost & Found are located just outside the center Expo Hall doors on the midway side.
What do I do if I lost an item at the fair?
Lost items are collected at the lost and found location right outside the Expo Hall center doors on the midway side.
Are there height restrictions on your rides?
The Florida State Fair has over 90 different rides on the midway, many of which do include varying height restrictions. Please be aware of height requirements for each ride before purchasing an armband as refunds are not offered. Click the link below to view the ride restrictions list on the Wade Shows website.
Is the fair cash-only?
Admission tickets and ride tickets/armbands may be purchased with cash or credit cards. Some vendors at the fair may only accept cash. For your convenience, ATMs are located throughout the grounds and are marked on maps available at Guest Services booths.
