    Ag-Venture

    Touch, taste and see Florida agriculture in this hands-on adventure! Designed for students in third grade, Ag-Venture features three different tours that will have a balance of plant and animal science. Students will visit stations with various hands-on activities to learn more about the impact that agriculture has in our every day lives.

    State Fair

    Self-guided school tours are available for first – fifth grade classes each weekday from Thursday, February 8th – Thursday, February 15th, 2024. General admission gates open at 11 a.m. Schools are recommended to arrive 30 minutes prior to Fair opening. Admission is $7 per person, and one adult will be admitted free per every 10 students.

    Students can experience educational displays like the Power of Steam exhibit, Florida Forest Discovery Center, Ag-Venture or visit the Livestock Barns to get up close and personal with cattle, chickens, and rabbits.

    In Florida’s Largest Classroom, every exhibit and attraction is a chance to learn more!

    Cracker Country

    Step back in time at Tampa’s only living history museum, Cracker Country! Trips are scheduled year-round with specially designed curriculum for young learners, elementary school students and homeschooled students. Featuring 13 original 20th-century structures and knowledgable docents in historic dress, Cracker Country offers so much to learn about 1900s Florida.
