In this section, we have assembled all the information you will need for entering the Youth Steer Show. We are thrilled that you are interested in the 2026 Florida State Fair. We encourage you to check out all the information in regards to the show.
Entry Due Date: June 20, 2025
Grace Period Due Date: June 27, 2025
All students that are entered in the 2026 Florida State Fair Youth Show must complete the ethics training to show an animal at the Florida State Fair. Youth exhibiting at other fairs should check that specific fair’s rules for ethics qualifications. The last workshop offered for exhibitors showing at the Florida State Fair will be held on January 19, 2026.

Youth Steer Futurity Rules and Entry Form
This program has been designed by the Florida State Fair Authority and Youth Steer Committee to provide competitive events where 4-H, FFA and YLPA projects help showcase Florida’s Livestock Industry and to provide educational seminars and/or materials in cooperation with the University of Florida on all aspects of selection, feeding, record keeping, showmanship, etc. Only steers purchased at the Florida State Fair Futurity Calf Sale will be eligible for entry in this show.
