    IMPACT Team

The Florida State Fair IMPACT (Influencers Making Positive Ag Contributions Today) Team is made up of past Florida State Fair Livestock Exhibitors, current college students and young adults with an interest in the Florida State Fair Livestock shows and programs, ages 18 to 25. The purpose and mission is to provide valuable input to the Florida State Fair Staff and work side by side with the current Florida State Fair Livestock Committees. This program is the perfect opportunity for those seeking leadership experience and community involvement while learning the different facets of the Florida State Fair Agribusiness programs. The IMPACT Team will contribute personal experience and knowledge to our existing committees with the intent of becoming a committee member following their term.

The IMPACT Team will be able to participate in specific show activities that they are interested in with the option of volunteer opportunities throughout the Agribusiness program. The Florida State Fair will ask each member to attend FSF Livestock Committee meetings at different times of the year and to volunteer at events such as the educational seminar, steer calf sale, poultry & rabbit workdays, etc. The IMPACT Team may also have opportunities to assist the Agribusiness Staff preparing for the Fair with possibilities Pre-Fair, During the Fair and Post Fair.

The IMPACT Team must complete and submit an application accompanied by two community/professional reference names with contact information. The term of the IMPACT Team member would be for one year beginning July 1 and ending June 30. Applications will be accepted from June 1st through June 25th. The IMPACT Team for the 2024 Florida State Fair will be announced on or before June 30th.
